About AssemblyNote

Clearer school communication starts with empowering the people who write it.

Since day one, AssemblyNote has been built with a simple belief: when teachers have the right tools, families get the right information—and students benefit most.

Our Story

How it all began

AssemblyNote started the way a lot of school communication does—messy spreadsheets, scattered emails, and a dozen different systems that never quite worked together. After years of listening to teachers and administrators, we kept hearing the same thing: families were overwhelmed, educators were stretched thin, and everyone wanted a clearer, more unified way to stay connected.:

"I want families to feel informed. I just don't have the time or the tools."

So in 2025, we began building AssemblyNote: a collaborative newsletter platform designed specifically for schools—where teachers can contribute their blurbs, administrators can effortlessly organize them, and families get clean, personalized updates that actually get read.

No startup hype. Just a small team obsessed with taking something chaotic and making it beautifully simple.

Where we're headed

AssemblyNote is still growing, but our mission is clear:

  • Empower teachers with tools that save time, not add work
  • Help schools communicate more clearly with families
  • Build a modern, flexible platform that fits the way real classrooms operate
  • Reduce the friction of "collecting blurbs" so schools can spend more time serving students—not wrangling content

We're currently expanding our platform to support customizable templates, richer collaboration workflows, and smarter ways to personalize content for every student.

AssemblyNote isn't just about newsletters—it's about helping schools communicate with confidence and consistency.

What we believe

Clarity beats complexity

Teachers deserve tools that respect their time

Families should never feel out of the loop
